Veronique Eloise is the author of Toxic Luv: Inspired by True Events, a novel drawn from real experience with coercive control, gaslighting, and the long road back to herself.
She writes for readers who have loved someone charming in public and confusing in private. Her children remain her anchor, the love that showed her how strong a mother and a woman can be when the mask finally falls.
By day, Veronique Eloise works across various departments for two major health systems, dedicating her life to helping patients navigate complex medical needs. Her extensive experience spans all age groups from pediatrics to the elderly and covers a vast clinical spectrum, including preventative care, diagnostic testing, trauma, and critical crisis intervention for homicidal and suicidal patients. Fueled by a deep joy for learning all facets of medicine, Veronique is a passionate advocate for patient education and empowerment.
Driven by a global mental health crisis, Veronique wrote this book not only to share her personal story but to demand drastic, systemic changes that ensure a better quality of life for everyone. This mission is rooted in her core philosophy: everything begins internally, and it will always reflect itself externally.
When stepping away from the medical world, Veronique prioritizes quality time with her children and friends. An avid adventurer and creative soul, her favorite hobbies include traveling, artwork, music, reading, dancing, hiking, kayaking, jet skiing, and spelunking.
With grace, Veronique
Journey
Toxic Luv began as private pages and became a novel when Veronique realized how many readers were still searching for language for what they had lived through.
The book follows Victoria through charm, control, and leaving. It is written for survivors, allies, and anyone who has ever been told they were too sensitive, too dramatic, or too confused to be believed.
Years after leaving, there are still hard days. Veronique writes toward the light anyway, and toward the reader who needs proof that healing is not linear but it is possible.
